Kareem is an urban sociologist at Makerere University in Uganda. His research focuses on energy and climate solutions for strengthening economies and conserving nature in African cities. He is an Editorial Board Member for Socio-Ecological Practice Research (SEPR), a journal that is dedicated to publishing academic and practice-leaning papers.
