Hanna is a PhD candidate at the Department of Political Science with connection to the Centre for Environmental and Climate science at Lund University, Sweden. In her PhD project she uses agent-based modelling, GIS and interviews to study the connection between forest policies, behavorial responses of forest owners and land use change.
With a background in Physical Geography and Gender studies, Hanna has earlier studied water availability in rural Nepal, landslides in Uganda, socio-environmental conflicts in Chilean forestry and movements against mining in Sápmi and Ecuador.
