As a socioeconomist with a background in tropical forestry and agribusiness management, I am interested in the analysis of smallholder agriculture and agroforestry systems; land tenure, land use conflicts and decision-making; value chains of agricultural and forestry products; and rural innovation systems and technology transfer contributing to sustainable land management. I work in inter- and transdisciplinary research projects involving fieldwork using qualitative and quantitative empirical social research methods.
