Christian Kelly Scott is a Ph.D. in Rural Sociology and International Agriculture, & Development from the Department of Agricultural Economics, Sociology, and Education at the Pennsylvania State University. He is currently a Post-doctoral Associate at Mississippi State University in the Department of Geosciences. His research focuses on societal issues of hunger and food insecurity. His dissertation focused on the economic, environmental, and social determinants of household food security in the rural southern Kyrgyz highlands.
