Carlo Giupponi is Professor of Environmental Economics at the Department of Economics at Ca’ Foscari University. His research activity focuses on sustainability science and global change, spatial analysis, valuation methods, integrated assessment and management of natural resources (water in particular), with focus on socio-ecosystem dynamics. He has co-authored more than 300 scientific and professional publications, and developed several modelling and decision support frameworks and tools, in particular NetSyMod and mDSS (http://www.netsymod.eu/mdss/).
