I'm research fellow at the German Environment Agency (UBA) and at the Helmholtz Centre for Environmental Research (UFZ). I’ve been visiting research fellow at Univ. Manchester, UK, and assistant lecturer at "Leipzig", "Anhalt" and "Leuphana" universities, DE. Economist by training, my inter- and transdisciplinary projects aim at facilitating more sustainable land use and soil governance in urban and rural environments. Currently, I am coordinating the synthesis project Stadt-Land-Plus of the German Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) at UBA and am synthesis manager in the BMBF BonaRes Centre for Soil Research as well as coordinator of DE-US.net network at UFZ. I coordinated the H2020 CSA INSPIRATION and FP7 project TIMBRE. I deputy lead the “Land Recycling” committee in the ITVA.
