Apply for Executive Training on Extractive Industries and Sustainable Development course

The Executive Training on Extractive Industries and Sustainable Development is designed for public sector officials and civil society representatives from resource-rich developing countries, whose responsibilities relate to the development or management of the extractive industries sector. The topics of the program are aligned with CCSI’s Five-Pillar Framework for resource-based sustainable development. These pillars integrate five critical and inter-related areas of the extractive industries value-chain:

  1. Transparent and mutually beneficial legal framework
  2. Long-term planning and revenue management
  3. Leveraging investments for development through infrastructure and linkages
  4. Human rights and integrated development
  5. Environmental management

A select number of representatives from the private sector and development agencies will also be admitted. Participants will receive a Statement of Attendance from Columbia University.

CCSI will be accepting applications on a rolling basis until the February 4, 2019 deadline.
