Scope

IISD is looking for a Senior Research Coordinator, Food & Agriculture to join an international team of lawyers, policy advisors, and economists working to change rules and policies on food, agriculture, trade, and investment, starting as soon as possible. The overall goal of the work is to ensure that legal, policy, and institutional frameworks that govern trade and markets in food and agriculture contribute to food security and improved nutrition, improved livelihoods, reduced inequality, and responsible use of the planet’s resources.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and coordinate a research agenda with other team members to support the overall goal of the work program.
  • Implement the research agenda with other team members by providing guidance and support at all stages of the development of research outputs.
  • Editorial and content management and support.
  • Improve systems and processes to support the production of research outputs.
  • Support the dissemination and publication of research results.
  • Write, edit, and commission reports, papers, policy briefs, and blogs on policy-oriented issues.
