Department of Life and Environmental Sciences at Bournemouth University is looking for a post-doctoral candidate to apply for the Marie Sklodowska – Curie Individual Fellowship (MSCA-IF 2018) on the topic of land use/cover changes in a traditional agricultural landscape in Croatia during post-socialism. The candidate will help to develop the MSCA-IF application, together with an experienced supervisory team and a professional bid writer.

We are looking for a highly qualified candidate who meets the eligibility criteria of the Horizon 2020 MSCA-IF programme. The candidate should have:

  • a PhD or equivalent before the MSCA IF application deadline (September 2018) in geography or similar subject (if possible, but not limited to, the topic of land use/cover changes)
  • evidence of publications in peer-reviewed journals
  • evidence of presentation at international conferences
  • preferably some international post-doctoral experience

The contract will be full time (40 hours per week) and temporary (24 months - time of fellowship).The work will take place at Bournemouth University with a possibility of shorter secondments to partner organizations (up to 3 months).
