POSITION SUMMARY
The Development Director for The Betty and Gordon Moore Center for Science (MCS) leads fundraising activities for the Center, with a divisional goal to raise funds from private foundations, corporations, individuals, and public funding agencies to support CI’s science initiatives. The position supports the MCS Senior Vice President in developing and implementing a fundraising strategy, growing the donor pipeline, managing proposal processes, and serving as the fundraising focal point with CI fundraising departments.
The Development Director also supports the MCS Senior Vice President to manage and strengthen the CI Science Advisory Board, which is comprised of CI Board members and other global corporate, government, university, and civil society leaders.
This position may have the opportunity to supervise staff.
