On behalf of the Scientific Committee, we are pleased to announce and invite you to the 11th INPUT conference on Innovation of Urban and Regional Planning, titled “INPUT2020 - Integrating Nature-Based Solutions in Planning Science and Practice”, which will be held on 9 - 11 September 2020 in Catania (Italy).

INPUT2020 conference in Catania will focus on how to integrate Nature-Based Solutions in urban and regional planning processes and science and intends to gather international scholars in the field of urban and regional planning, civil engineering and architecture, ecology and social science, to build and consolidate the knowledge and evidence on Nature Based Solutions and to help an efficient implementation and replication of solutions.

INPUT 2020 will present the state of art of modelling approaches and innovations employed in urban and territorial planning, with a trans-disciplinary, boundary-less character to face the complexity of today socio-ecological systems and following a practice-oriented approach aimed to problem solving.

The call for papers is now open until 29th of February and abstracts must be submitted through the INPUT2020 website.

All submitted papers will be peer-reviewed and published in Lecture Notes on Civil Engineering series (Springer), indexed in SCOPUS and WoS.

Special Issues in peer review ISI/Scopus journals will be announced for particular themes and topics.
