ARSET - Mapping Crops and their Biophysical Characteristics with Polarimetric SAR and Optical Remote Sensing

Tuesday, April 12, 2022 (All day) to Tuesday, May 3, 2022 (All day)
Online

NASA’s Applied Remote Sensing Training Program (ARSET) has opened a new open, online advanced webinar series: Mapping Crops and their Biophysical Characteristics with Polarimetric SAR and Optical Remote Sensing. This 4-part training will be delivered in English and Spanish and will present advanced radar remote sensing techniques using polarimetry to extract crop structural information, optical imagery from Sentinel-2 to map and monitor crop types and assess their biophysical characteristics, and Sen4Stat – an open source system demonstrating the potential of optical and SAR satellite Earth observations for monitoring and reporting of the SDG targets related to agriculture. If you would like to join us or pass along to colleagues who will find it useful, please do so.
